Smith-Root is delighted to now be serving our Australasian customers directly. As the world’s leader in electrofishing and fish guidance technologies, Smith-Root has had a successful presence in the Oceania region for many years. By now serving our loyal customers directly, Smith-Root has streamlined the procurement process providing significant cost savings for the end-user.

The region of Australasia represents an increasingly important market for Smith-Root and in particular our guidance systems. Australia has well-established hydroelectric facilities with most hydro energy potential already being harnessed. As Australian fisheries regulations catch up with this energy development, the need for Smith-Root’s guidance and electrofishing systems will increase as well. We look forward to satisfying this demand not only with our well established line of electrofishing equipment but our experienced staff of engineering and project management professionals as well.

This cost-effective approach is another example of Smith-Root’s determination in clearly establishing itself as the world’s leader in fish guidance, electroanesthesia, and electrofishing systems.  We look forward to providing our Australian customers with the most advanced electrofishing products at a competitive price, always accompanied by our unsurpassed customer service and technical support.

Please visit our booth in Seattle at the upcoming AFS Conference to meet our international partners; Smith-Root Europe, Hoskin Scientific (Canada), and K-Engineering (Japan).
