Barrier Type: Bottom and side mounted steel electrodes in a concrete culvert under a roadway.
Pulsators: 6ea. - 1.5KVA GFFB
Status: Blocks upstream migration of all fish into Lake Christina. The barrier is very effective and currently in operation. Vegetation and water clarity are returning to a natural state. The lake is now managed as an important feeding area for migrating waterfowl. There are currently seven Smith-Root electric fish barriers in Minnesota used for lake management.
