You can rent on a weekly or monthly basis and Smith-Root's rental program also offers you credit toward ownership of new equipment. To ensure availability, advance reservations are necessary.

Available Rental Packages

Insulating lineman gloves are required safety equipment when operating an electrofisher. Electrofisher rentals do not include insulated gloves. Gloves meeting safety requirements may be purchased from us online, or from any other source that supplies gloves tested to 10kV and meeting the ASTM D120 specification.

Generator not included.
Customer supplied generators need to meet the following requirements:

  • 8000 watt 240 volt output generator to reach maximum rated output. continuous 240V at 33A 50/60Hz
  • Generators of a lower power rating can be used, however output power will be limited 3500 Watt running or greater with 240 VAC output
  • Generator must have un-bonded or floating neutral
  • Standard plug twist lock 4-pin plug designed for 220-volt 30 amps, NEMA number L14-30P
