Project description
A temporary, removable PVC mat system was developed to prevent California sea lions from hauling out on an oil platform during construction. More than 100 temporary mats were deployed on the platform superstructure and successfully deterred all sea lion haul-outs for its deployment period of 6 months in 2014.
