Smith-Root to Perform Offsite Boat Clinic
Monday, February 06, 2012
As we head into spring, prime electrofishing season, many agencies are preparing their equipment for a busy year of work. One such agency, The Nebraska Game & Parks Commission, has invited two Smith-Root technicians out to their facility to perform a boat clinic on seven Smith-Root Electrofishing Boats. From February 13-17th our technicians, Kerry Smith and John Church, will inspect each boat’s complete electrical and electrofishing systems and replace and/or repair any faulty components.
Smith-Root’s boat clinics have proven to be a very popular way to maintain a fleet of electrofishing boats, greatly extending their useful life and therefore providing for significant long-term savings. Having made purpose built electrofishing boats since the mid 1970’s; Smith-Root has literally hundreds of boats in use today not only in the United States but throughout the world. A great many of these boats are more than 20 years old and are still gathering fish as they did when first built. We’re very proud of this proven durability.
If your agency is interested in scheduling a boat clinic for your boats or if you’d just like to find out more, please call Tammy at 360-573-0202 x 103.
